First of all I would like to Thank the ministers of the WEY Team for an excellent drama presentation of the "spiritual life". Clear, concise and a POWERFUL representation of the Gospel, the day by day battle between good and evil. Awesome job team, I truly appreciate your efforts and hard work. I can only imagine how this has and will impact so many people. God bless you all.

Thank you Andre for the sobering sermon, great job getting the Word out to us. Sometimes I get comfortable in my Christian life. I run through life with my schedules, responsibilities and commitments and time flys by. Reflecting back on last weeks sermon about our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ around the world woven in with todays message that we are on a mission which is dangerous, costly, unstoppable resulting in a "potentially" joyous life. I say potentially joyous because I have found that when I am living dangerously (outside of my Christian comfort zone) when it's costing me something (serving and reaching out to others needs first rather than to my own)knowing that God's Will is unstoppable... RESULTS in joy. If I live each day without thinking about my purpose and God's mission, it's just another day, another wasted day.

Just think of the so many days gone by that seem to be a blur at best, compared with the days gone by where you know God intervened, God was present, God used you in the life of someone else or maybe He just met with you one on one, those days are clear, memorable and have impacted me and you.
It's those days where testimonies are born. A shared testimony about God working in you and through you is life changing. Is that something to be Joyful about? Absolutely.

God is always at work around us. He is going to accomplish His Will with me or without me, remember His mission is unstoppable. It's up to me if I want to "plug in" to what He's doing and what He would like to do through me. I can testify that when I am living according to His mission, JOY has been the end result. As Josh mentioned today during worship, we are the Lord's hands and feet. We are here to do the work. I am excited about the Net 3 Initiative. I think it's the right time, the right message, given to the right people during this season in the life of Wintonbury. I'm trusting God for the 3 people He will put on my heart this week to come and I trust that you will do the same. I'm excited to hear the future testimonies on how God is working through you and what a time of Joyous celebration that will be. May God bless each one of you.

        Hi Brett,
Wow! What a great entry. I really agree with your thoughts here. Life is so shallow if it isn't spent on what counts for eternity. Being able to be a vessel of God's Word and His grace to others is such a joy and a privilege.
I like how you talked about those wasted days you can't get back. Those days spent just going through the motions...kind of the like "The Matrix"...in that movie, people are just going about this pre-programmed life and it is mindless. Until someone courageous breaks out of "the matrix" and seeks to act as a virtuous, independent character. I think we can get so easily caught up in what Peter calls "the worthless way of life handed down to you by your forefathers) (1 Peter 1:18-19). I sure don't want to fall into that pit...by God's grace I trust I won't!

      Hi Alec,
Thanks for getting us started! I know how you feel. I too am so busy with church stuff that I often have no time to develop relationship outside of church...a definite problem! I am thankful though that normal life interactions at places like shops, stores, restaurants, etc... can be places of connection...if we're open to it. Hope you and I can improve in these areas! Thanks for writing Alec!

I'm very excited about Net 3. I'm excited because I know God is expressing His desires through His instruments at Wintonbury i.e. the Youth Presentation/Drama, Andre's teaching, Rich's previous teaching...
God loves hurting people. Jesus is longing to comfort and save the lost. Net 3 can get us real focused on 3 people whom God wants to draw to Himself. I have 2 on the list I know for sure. I'm praying for the 3rd.
This is not a program. It is God's heart. Thanks everyone for communicating His heart.

        Hi John,
I agree...this isn't a program. What we want to do is simply to join God in His work and to experience Him at work in and through us. I know that there is nothing that compares with sharing Jesus' love and truth with someone who is searching. What a joy! I think of when Jesus told His disciples that His joy was seeing their joy complete. Spreading joy...that's what it's all about! Happy Thanksgiving brother...we have much to be thankful for!

Rich had me going…Bin Laden convicted and giving his life to Christ. That analogy put a whole new perspective on Saul’s conversion. And it got me thinking...nothing is impossible with God so why not think big. Imagine the impact if it were true. I’m adding Osama to my prayer list!
